Girl Scout alumnae get a chance to 'camp like a girl'
Late night campfires and sing-a-longs. Early morning pajama breakfasts. Long summer days spent poolside, testing your aim at the archery range or learning a new skill, like canoeing, photography or horseback riding. This is what it means to "camp like a girl."
In late June, Girl Scout of San Jacinto Council alumnae revisited Camp Agnes Arnold and Camp Misty Meadows for their own chance to camp like a girl for a day.

“What I Learned About Life” features Tina Pennington and Mandy Williams, both of whom are former Girl Scouts and authors of a book by the same name. The book is a fun approach to personal finance.
The event is $25 and includes refreshments, book discussion, author Q&A and a book signing. The book is available for purchase in the Girl Scout Shop, located at Program Place for Girls.
There is no cost to join the Alumnae Association, and the group is open to anyone who has been a member of Girl Scouting in any capacity, from girl member to volunteering as an adult.
