Stories are circulating that Girl Scout Lemonade Cookies are being recalled. This is NOT true. San Jacinto Council has been assured by our baker, ABC Bakers, that our Lemonades are NOT affected by the problems that Little Brownie has had with their Lemon Chalet Crèmes in other parts of the country. This does NOT affect our Council, cookies or 26-county service area.

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council joins Girl Scouts around the country to make the world a better place as we celebrate Girl Scout Week and the 98th anniversary of Girl Scouts from March 7-13. More than 3 million girls in the United States and more than 72,000 in San Jacinto Council's 26-county area are discovering their path to leadership through Girl Scouts.

The Wait is Over! The Cookie Sale is Here!
Local Girl Scouts are now taking orders for cookies. Starting Feb. 19, Girl Scout Cookies will be sold at cookie booths outside of grocery stores and other retail venues. Use our Cookie Finder site to find a Cookie Booth scheduled in your area.
The sale ends March 27. There is also a toll-free cookie hotline at 1-888-GS-COOKIE to help consumers find the nearest Girl Scout cookie booth.

It's official! Houston is the host city and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is the host council for the 52nd National Convention of Girl Scouts of the USA, to be held November 10-13, 2011 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council representatives took center stage at the 51st National Convention in Indianapolis for the big announcement, themed "Launching the Next Century of Girl Scouting." Girl Scouting will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2012, so the 52nd Convention will be a very special occasion as it will launch the anniversary celebration.
